Our method:

-Engines have been disassembled entirely. Cases are either pressure washed or hot tanked.

-New pistons and rings, gaskets and seals, timing chain (if applicable), water pump seal kit (if water pump is part of assembly), oil filter, and spark plugs are all included in rebuilt engines.

-The valves are adjusted and the heads are rebuilt or refreshed (on a Rottler Head Machine SG7MTS). Every head is examined for accuracy and, if required, surfaced or planed. Every valve, guide, and seat is inspected and, if necessary, replaced.

-Cylinders are either sent off and replated or overbored to the next size.

-Crankshafts undergo examination. They are replaced or rebuilt if they are not in near-new or exceptional condition. All of the bearings are changed if the application calls for automotive-style crank and rods. Where necessary, crankshaft roller bearings are changed.

-Transmissions (if relevant). Every component is examined or measured for wear. Where necessary, all gears, shift forks, and bearings are replaced. Where necessary, any additional worn internal components will be replaced.

-A vital part of the construction is the oil pump. They are all demolished and examined. They will be replaced or rebuilt if they don’t seem quite new.

-Once all components have been examined and replacement parts are available, assembly can start. To ensure the longevity of your powertrain, each engine is hand-built with fine craftsmanship. For every engine type, all bolts are torqued to the proper specifications.

-Testing your engine is the last step in the procedure here at Offroad Oasis. We have been able to construct test cradles or test rollers thanks to the extensive inventory of used parts from our salvage operation. Nine out of ten engines that leave our facility are run by us. and are working to achieve 100% testing. This enables us to identify any problems before they affect the consumer.

-Our guarantee, in case something goes wrong. The engines of all sport quads (like the YFZ450 or scrambler) and sport side-by-sides (like the RZR) are covered by a 90-day guarantee. Utility offers a 180-day guarantee on all ATV and UTV engines. For the first ninety days of the warranty, parts or exchanges and labour are covered (up to $500 for labour if the installation was done by a qualified shop in the field). Only exchanges or parts are covered in the second ninety days. (Sport quads and sport side-by-sides are not included.)
